-Our vision is to create an unpretentious environment where the goal is to have fun together, regardless of age, sex, nationality or surfing skills. Classes are only organised in small groups(maximum 6), always avoiding crowded places( like Porto da cruz or Machico) and we try adapted to all levels: “Surf for beginners”, “intermediate level”, “children” and “private lessons”.

We do everything possible for you to learn or improve your surf skills by adapting our classes and teaching methods to your level and water conditions each day. We only use the best materials to make sure your experience with us is perfect.

To reserve and book your place in the surf lesson, you must make a payment of 30% of the total cost of the lesson. This amount is not refundable in the event of a No-Show or if you cancel. It will only be refunded for weather reasons due to cancellation by the surf school.

This program allows to experience several Surf Sports in the Region while experimenting cultral and local food experience. You will have a fun and genuine portuguese day!

Each day you will have a diferent program in a diferent surf spot between Cascais, Sintra and Ericeira.

Madeira is blessed with around 300 kilometers of spectacular coastline with a bit of everything. from enchanting rocky beaches to breath-taking cliffs and peaceful countryside, you can choose where to surf every day based on tides and weather conditions. We offer excursions throughout the beautiful coast and we can arrange a surf trip for you and friends anywhere in Madeira.

This package is better suitable for intermediate and advanced surfers who want to make the best of their time surfing the region and want to explore many local spots. We can organize surf trips to various places from Madeira Special price for Groups

The surfGuide not only recommends the best spot but also accompanies in and out of the water, helping to ensure that the Surf session has a fun ending with safety above all

What does a day of Surf Guiding with Orlando Pereira in Madeira look like?

In Madeira, conditions change a lot with tides, swells, and local winds. That means we don’t surf at the same time every day. Often it’s worth heading out early to avoid crowds and the wind that usually picks up later in the day. In winter, though, waiting for the sun to warm things up can be the smarter option.

The evening before each session, Orlando will let you know the exact time for the next day’s mission.

On the surf day, we can arrange a meeting point so Orlando can take you to the beach, or you can meet directly at the chosen spot. Once there, you’ll check the waves together, and Orlando will share useful insights about the spot — currents, bottom conditions, hazards, and other important details. After that, it’s all about enjoying your surf session — and of course, your guide will be surfing too!

Please note: During the surf Orlando will stay nearby, but this part of the activity is independent and at your own risk. This is not a lesson or coaching session.

Orlando always brings along backup essentials like an extra leash, repair kit, wax, water, and a changing robe.

Equipment

Didn’t bring your own gear? No problem — just let Orlando know what kind of board or wetsuit you’re looking for, and he’ll help you get set up. He works with local surf shops and can always arrange the right equipment for the conditions.

Small groups

To make sure everyone enjoys their session — in and out of the water — Orlando doesn’t bring large groups to the beach. If your group has 4 or more people, please reach out first to discuss the possibilities.

Surf level

Not sure if your level is right for guiding? Just ask Orlando — if needed, he can connect you with a local surf school for lessons before joining a guiding session. Please note: you’ll only be allowed to paddle out if you’re independent enough to surf safely on your own. Your actions in the water are always your own responsibility.

To rent the board, you must pay the amount online and Caution 250€, you have the presence of the identity card, address/hotel) and telephone contact.

Any damage caused to the board will have to pay a fee.

This information will be sent to the customer at the time of rental in order to accept the rental conditions.

Payments are all made online, with daily payment for the board and the fee. If the fee is paid by credit card, the refund will take 2 to 5 days to be available in your account after delivery of the board. To avoid this, you can pay via PayPal. After the payments and documents sent by email are completed, the container door will be opened remotely for you to pick up your board. The same will be done upon delivery. The inside of the container is monitored with surveillance cameras for your safety and the company's security.
